Social Skills Club for Kids
Creating Socially Responsible, Adaptable and Resilient Children
This social emotional learning sessions aim to provide support to emotional health and connection as well as developing empathy. The development of social and emotional skills promotes children’s ability to have an awareness of their feelings, cope with difficulties as well as managing their behaviour in relation to resolving conflict. By teaching children these practical skills we promote resilience –the ability to rise victorious despite negative or challenging things which happen through life. We will teach specific strategies to recognize ad respond to feelings, to thinking through challenging situations and communicating effectively. When children acquire these social skills they are less likely to act out of frustration at school and elsewhere.
